Chris works for Fort Miami Games as a game developer. They are currently working on their Bachelor of Science degree with a focus on software development. Chris had also worked on obtaining a Major Degree in Literature.

 Other than working at Fort Miami Games, Chris also works on odd jobs or jobs that require an extra pair of hands while they finishes their degree. One of their favorite hobbies is playing games that are described as “Complexity Simulators” that have multiple moving parts that all work together, like Dwarf Fortress and Satisfactory. Some of Chris’s current favorite games include Pizza Tower and Lethal Company. Their all-time favorite game is Dark Cloud 2 for PlayStation 2 since it is a small action RPG that provides a lot of fun content.

Nowshan is currently working towards their bachelor’s degree in information systems concentrating on Web Development from Baker College. They are working as a database developer for Fort Miami Game.

Outside of work, some of Nowshan’s favorite hobbies include Traveling, Cooking, Drawing, and exercising. They have had some experience working with database modeling and design through their classes. Nowshan’s current favorite game is Mortal Kombat 11 since they currently are playing it the most. They also have not really played a lot of games that much to have any all-time favorite game.

Ashton is currently attending Baker College, working towards their bachelor’s degree in computer science with a focus on software programming. They working as a game developer for Fort Miami Games.

Outside of work, some of their favorite hobbies include playing games, software development, modding games, and occasionally live streaming on Twitch. While not having any work projects related to their role at Fort Miami Games, Ashton has work personal project experiences like Quality of life and user experiences related to their developer role. Ashton current favorite games are Minecraft and Geometry Dash since they are games that allows Ashton to freely create stuff through various mods.

Brendan is a recent graduate of Davenport University with a Business Administration Degree in Sports Management. While working with Fort Miami Games he is seeking Full time work as well.

Donovan is interning with Fort Miami Games as a game developer. He is currently attending Baker College, working towards their Bachelor’s Degree in game software development.

Other than working at Fort Miami Games, Donovan also works part-time at the local Pizza Hut near him. Some of his favorite Hobbies includes watching movies, play video games, listen to music, and read. While Donovan is not able to pick an all-time favorite game, some his favorite games include the Mega Man Series, A Hat in Time, Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs, and Terraria. These games he is fond of and have put in a lot of playtimes into them.

Bethany is a senior at Kendall College of Art and Design in the illustration program.

Her hobbies outside of her craft such as playing Dungeons and Dragons (DnD), drawing, playing ukulele, watching TV shows, and hanging out with her friends. On twitch, Bethany has done commissions for Twitch emoticons, badges, and banners and her experience in graphic design and illustration through my classes also relates. Her favorite game is Drawn to Life and its sequel.

John is interning with Fort Miami Games as a mobile game developer. He is attending Davenport University working towards a Degree in Computer Science with a Gaming and Simulation design specialty.

Other than working with Fort Miami Games, some of his hobbies include playing video games, playing guitar and drawing. John has also competed in various game jams. His absolute favorite game is Minecraft, though he also likes the video game genres of role-playing and strategy.

Jeffrey is currently attending Davenport University to earn a bachelor’s degree in computer science. He is working with Fort Miami Games as a Software Developer focusing on database design/functionality with players and servers.

Outside of work, a couple of his hobbies involve interacting with Operation System development and assembly programming. His favorite game to play is American Truck Simulator since it’s a decent zone out game to interact with while listening to a podcast or learning new stuff.

Cameron is pursuing a degree in Sports Management and makes use of the information obtained through his studies to work on marketing Fort Miami Games.

When Cam is not working on marketing or his degree, he can be found kayaking or finding new places to dine around Grand Rapids.

Kait is working as a graphic designer for Fort Miami Games, working on game’s concept art. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in digital media from KCAD.

In addition to working with Fort Miami Games, Kait works as a separator at Perrin Sportswear. Some hobbies Kait likes includes working on art projects (drawing, crochet, and knitting), playing guitar, reading/writing, and rollerblading. Kait has worked as a supplemental artist for game previously called Office Type. Even with not having a lot of time to play many games, Kait’s current favorite game is Mario Vs Rabbids. Their favorite type of game genre they like to play are strategy-based games. 

Aaron is currently attending Davenport University to earn a degree in Network Management and Security. He is working with Fort Miami Games as Web Server Development, dealing with multiplayer and networking for applications.

Other than working with Fort Miami Games Aaron works for Belle Tire and likes bowling, watching baseball, football, and F1, and playing video games. His favorite game is either Old School RuneScape or Project Cars 2.

Adam is currently attending Davenport University, working towards his major in computer science with a specialty in algorithms and computer theory. He is currently a server-sided Developer for Fort Miami Games.

Outside of work, he likes to play video games, watch movies, hiking, long boarding, and working on other programming projects. Adam’s favorite game is League of Legends because he likes the competitive aspect of refining strategies and skills with the overall focus on teamwork and affecting variables. He is also a part of the collegiate competitive esports community.

Nick is currently a senior working towards a degree in sports management and marketing from Davenport University. He is working to help design the website and market for Fort Miami Games

When not working with Fort Miami Games Nick is likely bowling, golfing, or trying to get outside and do anything from longboard to snowboard. His current and all-time favorite game is Destiny 2.

Jenn is interning as a game asset designer currently with Fort Miami Games. She earned her BFA in Digital Art and Design at KCAD. She was always imaginative and loved drawing or writing stories which pushed her down her current career path. She has created various assets for streamers on Twitch like emotes, profile pictures, original characters and panels.

Outside of Fort Miami Games Jenn is a sales associate and commission artist on Twitch. In her free time, she loves to skateboard, play video games, do jigsaw puzzles, collect plushies, and nap. Her favorite game is the Tomb Raider series because Lara Crofts’ crazy adventures and her intelligence and bravery making her an idol of hers.

Nate acquired a Digital Art Degree from Kendall College of Art and Design, which tailors specifically to Video Game Art, enhancing his skills alongside modern digital 2D and 3D editing software's. He looks to design the visuals of the game’s many assets and overall themes.

Outside of working at Fort Miami Games, his hobbies include playing video games, soccer, tennis, multiple forms of music, reading, coding, traveling, hiking, camping, and woodworking. Some of his favorite games are Crash Twinsanity but overall is a huge fan of the crash series 1-3, the remakes, and 4.

Allo works for Fort Miami Games as a game developer. They are currently studying for their bachelor's degree in computer science information system with focus in web page applications from Davenport University.

In addition to working with Fort Miami Games, Allo also works on-campus as a campus assistant. Outside of work, some of their favorite hobbies include watching movies/anime, reading, playing games (both video games and tabletop), and working out. Allo’s all time favorite game is Titan Fall 2 since they like the overall story and gameplay aspects. Other current favorite games include Stardew Valley, Risk of Rain 2, Cult of the Lamb, Apex, and Gigantic.

Jody is incredible with Adobe and web development. Naturally, she applies her passion to her work and develops the website for Fort Miami Games on mobile and desktop devices. Jody got a lot of her inspiration from Tumblr where she was able to hone in on her creativity.

When Jody isn’t working on her passions, she likes to spend her free time hiking, biking, and playing Fallout 4.

Before working for the team here at Fort Miami Games, Jesse was a self-employed artist and attended art school to better his craft. Jesse is currently developing his own game while he continues to work on the graphics for our games.

When Jesse isn’t designing artwork, he can be found playing games himself or going cliff diving.

Jacob has earned with his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and applies them to the team here at Fort Miami Games. Jacob is one of our programmers that works on giving you a flawless experience when you boot up our games.

When Jacob isn’t developing games to play, he likes to relax and play games himself. Some of his favorites are God of War and League of Legends.

David served 4 years in the United States army as a tank mechanic. He then attended Davenport University for a degree in cyber security. He self-taught programming and began working at Fort Miami Games developing automation and deployment software, as well as, conducting research and software development during its creation back in 2018.

Outside of work, he plays tabletop war games and pen and paper RPGs. He is a fan of new age science fiction, and his favorite game is Shin Megami Tensei 3: Nocturne because of the environment, soundtrack, narrative, and rewarding combat.

Jack is interning with Fort Miami Games as a mobile app developer. He is currently working towards earning a degree in Computer Science with a Gaming and Simulation specialty.

Other than working with Fort Miami Games, Jack likes to play video games and Dungeons and Dragons. His current favorite game is Super Smash Bros Ultimate and all-time favorite is the Spyro series

Michael is currently a computer systems information major and is working to help with the website here at Fort Miami Games while also marketing the platform. Michael has plenty of experience handling the back-end development of websites between his work at school and work.

In his free time, Michael enjoys biking, playing ball out on the court, or enjoying some time playing 2K.

Tyler is currently a senior pursuing a degree in computer science with a specialization in game design. Outside of Fort Miami Games, he is currently a Target retail employee.

Tyler’s hobbies consist of playing video games alone or with his friends, watching TV shows with his brother and playing Dungeons and Dragons. Tyler’s favorite game is Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Dyllan is currently finishing their final semester at Davenport University, where they are working towards their bachelor’s degree in computer science. They are working as a game developer for Fort Miami Games.

Outside of work, some of Dyllan’s favorite hobbies include playing video games, disc golfing, mountain biking, and partaking in strongmen competitions. Dyllan’s all-time favorite games are Kingdom Hearts 2 and the gen 3 Pokémon games since it brings a lot of nostalgia to them. Their current favorite game is Final Fantasy XIV since it has a lot of social aspect of interacting with content through working in a group.

Jenni is interning as graphic designer, working on the game assets for Fort Miami games. She is attending Ferris State University, working towards her Major in animation and video game design while minoring in film studies.

In addition to working with Fort Miami Games, Jenni also is a senior RA for their university where they help represent the LGBTQ+ community. Some hobbies she likes to do include playing games, reading, cooking, and drawing. Jenni also had worked on a 2D horror-comedy game where she worked on the UI design, concept art, and splash art. Jenni current favorite games are Valorant and League of Legends since she likes tactical FPS games, like Valorant, and likes league due to the different customization it provides.
