Frank has worked in the IT field for over 30 years. Frank taught a game design course back in the 2000s and, using his knowledge of IT and coding, created Fort Miami Games. Frank is an Assistant Professor at Grand Rapids Community College (GRCC).
When Frank isn’t busy with work or Fort Miami Games, he can be found spending time outside or relaxing with a good read.
Dan has two degrees in electronics. He also has an electrical engineering degree from ITT Tech as well as a Computer Science degree from Davenport University.
His hobbies outside of Fort Miami Games include collecting, fixing, and modifying older games and game systems. He likes to modify with his Rx7, watches, as well as Pokémon Cards. His favorite games are Pokémon Blue, Red, and Green and his recent favorite is the Fallout series.
Sura earned a Bachelor of Computer Science, Global Project Management Certificate, and a higher degree in data analysis. This while working towards a Master of Data Analysis. Currently for Fort Miami Games Sura is the Project Manager, so she develops basics of Alpha and Beta experiments and their workflow. She has a wealth of knowledge that allows her to excel in this position such as the Software Testing Process, Unity tester, Testing Tools for Android Development, and Testing Mythologies.
Other than working for Fort Miami Games, Sura works for the University of Davenport Warren Customer Service Specialist. She also enjoys doing handicrafts like designing and implementing gifts as well as cooking. Some of her favorite all time games are old electronic games like The Goonies MSX, Classic Games Junkies, King’s Valley, and Rambo III. Current favorites of hers are more two dimensional rather than three, like Project Makeover, Matchington Mansion, and Super Stylist Fashion Dress Up
Cameron Graduated from Davenport University in Spring of 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in computer science tailored to game design/development. He was hired initially as a game developer but has transitioned to the role of website developer.
Outside of working with Fort Miami Games Cameron likes playing games, reading, bowling, and helping family. He has also worked on two separate game development projects outside of this. His current favorite games are the Pokémon series, Dead by Daylight, and Oxygen not Included. His all-time favorite is Chrono Trigger because of the narrative, characters, and world where it takes place.
Matthew is interning with Fort Miami Games as a mobile app developer. He is attending Davenport University, working towards a degree in Information Technology with a Computer Security specialty.
Outside of work, some of his hobbies include playing battle card games, video games, and practicing his coding skills. Matthew’s favorite game series is the Fallout Series since he likes the interesting concept of the game taking placed in a post nuclear fallout world. Other games that he liked playing are Skyrim, Elder Scrolls, and the new Spider-Man Game.
Austin is currently attending Baker College, working towards his Bachelor’s degree in Video Game Design. They also graduated from Muskegon Community College where he got an Associate’s degree in programming. He is currently a game developer for Fort Miami Games.
Outside of work, some of his hobbies include playing video games, playing disc golf, watching anime, and hanging out with family. Austin’s current favorite game is between Genshin Impact and Marvel Snap. His all-time favorite game is MX Unleashed for the PS2 since it was a game, he played a lot during his childhood, and he thinks the physics in the game was ahead of its time.
Fred is currently attending Davenport University, working towards their bachelor's degree in computer science with an emphasis in game design. They are working as a game developer for Fort Miami Games.
Outside of working with Fort Miami Games, they also work at the Wellness Center at Davenport University. Some of their favorite hobbies they like to participate in are playing basketball, gaming, and hanging out with friends. Fred’s all-time favorite games are Red Dead Redemption II, Baldur’s Gate 3, and Armored Core VI. They believe that these games are the greatest games from this current game generation. Their current favorite games are NBA 2k24 and Overwatch 2.
Marko works for Fort Miami Games as a game developer. They are working on their bachelor’s degree in computer information systems. Marko has also graduated from the College of Lake County (CLC) with an associate degree in science.
In addition to working with Fort Miami Games, Marko also works a couple of part times jobs at Spring Grove and Zoia Monument. Outside of work, some of their hobbies include gaming, working out (Hiking), wine making, cooking, and playing D&D. Since there is a variety of games, it is hard for Marko to pick an all-time favorite game. Though currently, they are currently enjoying playing Helldivers 2.
Tuyet works for Fort Miami Games as a website developer. They graduated with a bachelor’s degree in science information systems with a focus on web development from Baker College.
Outside of work, some of Tuyet’s favorite hobbies include watching movies and tv shows, playing video games, and traveling/experiencing new places and cultures. Due to their busy schedule, Tuyet does play that many games currently. However, they have played some games in the past that are their favorites.
Daniel works for Fort Miami Games as a Mobile App Developer. They are currently attending Baker College, working on their Majors in computer science with a focus on programming.
In addition to working with Fort Miami Games, Daniel also works at a local ice cream shop in Mason MI that is run by a fantasy and science fiction author. Outside of work, some of their favorite hobbies include playing video games, reading, drawing, playing tabletop roleplaying games, and interacting with friends. Daniels current favorite game is Helldivers 2 since they like the challenging nature of the game and how there are numerous approaches to solving game problems. Their all-time favorite game is Elden Ring since they love exploring the different routes in the game and have played for many years to appreciate.
Maddison is currently working towards their bachelor's degree in computer science with a specialty in programming from Baker College. They are working as a database developer for Fort Miami Games.
Outside of work, some of Maddison’s favorite hobbies include painting, reading, playing video games, and fostering and caring for animals. They do have worked on some personal projects on Unity and database design through school projects. Maddison’s all-time favorite game is between Red Dead Redemption and the Far Cry series. Their current favorite game is The First Descendant, a third person looter-shooter type of game.
Sagar works for Fort Miami Games as a Mobile App Developer. They are currently pursuing a bachelor’s in computer science with a concentration in gaming and simulations from Davenport University.
In addition to working with Fort Miami Games, Sagar also works part-time at Home Depot. Outside of work, some of their favorite hobbies include playing games, working out, going out with friends/family, and practicing Muay Thai. Sagar’s current favorite games include Black Myth: Wukong, Valorant, CS2, and Minecraft. Their all-time favorite game is Dark Soul 3 since they like the overall difficulty of the game through its mechanics/bosses and the rewarding feelings when beating these challenges.
Stephen is currently working on their bachelor’s degree plan at Baker College which focuses on game software design. They are currently working at Fort Miami Games as a Mobile App Developer.
Outside of work, some of Stephen’s favorite hobbies include playing video games, basketball with siblings, and watching movies/shows. Stephen’s all-time favorite video game series is Ratchet and Clank since they like platformers, like DonkeyKong64, while growing up and brings back fun memories. Their current favorite game is Skyrim since they and their sibling are currently playing the game together using the Skyrim Together mod.
